Helmet.fi succeeds in competition for user-centric services
Helmet.fi ranked among the top three in the competition for Europe’s best user-centric digital services. The aim of the UserCentriCities Awards competition and project is to promote user-centric services in European cities.
Helsinki won the competition with its service that allows allocation and acceptance of pre-primary education places via text message. The third finalist was Rotterdam with its participation platform.
The City of Espoo entered Helmet.fi for the competition, and the Director of Library Services at Espoo City Library, Ritva Nyberg, presented the online service at the event. The award ceremony was held in Espoo in June.
