Printing service is available in Vantaa libraries again
As of June 1, 2021, you can again print at most Vantaa libraries. In Myyrmäki Library, printers will be installed soon.
We will be applying the firstname.lastname@example.org service to all customer printing. Using the printing service requires that you have an email address. Printing directly from a computer without logging in a printer will no longer be possible. Photocopying and scanning at the libraries will function as before.
Printing, photocopying, and scanning will remain free-of-charge to the library customers. You can print or photocopy at max. 20 black-and-white sheets per day.
Vantaa libraries’ printing service has been unavailable because of the data security threat found in the printing process, as well as because of the coronavirus restrictions. The new printing system improves the customers’ data protection. The library and the city's IT Administration will together keep on searching for ways to improve the printing system also in the future.
