You have an opportunity to participate in sheet music selection 30th August - 11th September, 2016. You can choose from the same sheet music selection list from which the staff chooses sheet music.

Iso Omena library opened its doors at Iso Omena Shopping Centre in 2001. From August 2016 the library will move to the Service Centre, changing the operating concept to something new.

Helmet-libraries will renew its logo and refresh its visual identity at the same time as the helmet.fi itself is launched. From now on, you can recognize Helmet-libraries by this logo.

Helsinki City Library’s central system for sorting materials will be upgraded on Thursday, 18 February and Friday, 19 February. The upgrade will cause an interruption in the use of the system, so delivering reserved items to customers will take slightly longer than usual.

HelMet.fi will be remodeled in 2016. Remodeled site will be much easier to use with smartphones and tablet devices. Site interface will be made responsive, in other words, screen view will automatically adjust to the devise being used. Of all the HelMet site visits, mobile and tablet devices counted for about one third last year.
