Two Ultimaker 3 -3D printers make physical objects from digital sample files. A 3D sample file in STL format is required for printing. Non-toxic and biodegradable PLA plastic is used as the printing material. Reservations via varaamo.hel.fi. In principle, the customer handles the printing him/herself. Separate guidance to be agreed in advance: (09) 310 85 064.

You can use the customer computers in the library without booking them beforehand. Usage time for three adult computers 2 h, one children's computer 1 h and one next to the printer 30 min.

You can also borrow a laptop computer to be used in the library with your library card and ID. Usage time 8 h.

Black and white or colour copies, self-service, sizes A4 and A3. Price €0.40/sheet. You can also use the copier to scan documents to your e-mail.

Yamaha Arius YDP-163 digital piano is located in the music department and must be played with headphones on. You can borrow headphones with your library card. Further information and reservations at Varaamo.

Hublet drive that includes six tablets for use in the library. Hublet tablets can be borrowed with a library card and PIN, with an operating time of 2 hours.

The vinyl cutter can be used to create monochrome labels and fabric prints. There are several colour options to choose from. The adhesive material is suitable for both indoor and outdoor surfaces. Images or text cut into vinyl, in turn, can be printed on a natural nonwoven fabric (e.g., a t-shirt) with a heat press. Reservations via varaamo.hel.fi. In principle, the customer takes care of the use of the equipment himself. Separate guidance to be agreed in advance: (09) 310 85 064. You will need a library card to borrow the laptop with Roland Cutstudio programme.

Exchange station for customers' own books and magazines. Please bring small amounts only, max 5 items.

Screen to be used with a data or slide projector is situated in multifunctional room.

All of the library's client computers can print A4 / A3 black-and-white or color prints as self-service. Mobile printing also from your own devices. To print materials, you will first have to create a printing account for yourself at asiakastulostus.hel.fi. You will need an email address to register.   

Printing costs €0.40 per sheet. Printouts will be paid directly to the library staff.

Stadinetti is a free wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi). No passwords needed.
